Brandel brings a strong industry background to Industry Directions manufacturing and supply network client projects and Internet-based businesses.

There, Brandel developed the Business Process Network (BPN) model to facilitate inter-enterprise supply chain collaboration. Previously, Brandel acted as director of e-Commerce operations at BuyerZone.com, a Net marketplace targeting small to midsize buyers and suppliers. Brandel also directed the Electronic Commerce program at Corporate Software & Technology, Inc. (CS&T), a software value-added reseller that served Fortune 500 accounts. Prior to this, Brandel was editor-in-chief of @Computerworld, an award-winning news and community portal targeting corporate IT managers. Additionally, he has spent more than 10 years reporting and editing in the business and computer trade press, covering the impact of technology on business.

Brandel holds a BA in Journalism from Michigan State University, and is a candidate for a Masters in Education Technology.
