International Plastics Expands Operations, Facilities; Throws Hat Into Point-of Purchase (POP) Market
Washington-based International Plastics recently acquired new facilities in four states, making the fifteen-year-old company a hard-ball competitor in the wholesale plastics marketplace. Now they're venturing into the retail point-of-purchase (POP) display market.
(PRWEB) May 14, 2005 -- International Plastics (http://www.intlplastics.com), a business unit of Minkus Plastics Corporation based in Washington State, has expanded. Originally focusing on full line wholesale distribution of plastic film, sheet, rod and tube, the fifteen-year-old company is now offering a line of finished products with an emphasis on point of purchase (POP) displays. International Plastics Vice President Jeff Bruchs, who joined the firm seven years ago, heads the newly created POP division, which includes fabrication, printing, die cutting, and research and development.
International Plastics is a full line distributor of film, sheet, rod and tube with specialties in Extruded and Cast Acrylic, Polycarbonate and Expanded PVC, and is an exclusive importer of these substrates from foreign sources. Additionally, International Plastics supplies Polyester Film, Acetate Film, Flexible and Rigid Vinyl, Styrene, ABS, Polyolefins, Teflon (PTFE), Delrin (Acetal), and Nylon.
Since its creation in 1990, International Plastics has become one of North America's largest suppliers of wholesale plastics, with locations now in Washington, California, Wisconsin, Ohio, and a new 40,000 sq. ft. fabrication and printing operation in Arkansas. This newest facility employs a staff of over 40, and is capable of manufacturing thousands of point-of-purchase displays each day. Plans are to also open a sales office in South Florida.
