Rap Fest 2005 - August 13, 2005 in the Bronx

Rap Fest is an all day, outdoor, free, Christian Hip Hop event. Featuring 30,000 watts, 26 ministries, 8 hours, all for 1 God Jesus Christ.

Bronx, NY (PRWEB) May 15, 2005 -- On August 13, 2005, from 1:00 PM -- 9:00 PM, Salem Temple Assemblies of God Church, located at 1408 Bryant Avenue in the Bronx, hosts their eleventh annual Rap Fest. This event features 26 Rap Ministries (groups) from various cities, states and countries. This years confirmed artists include - 3D Remedy (NY), Abdi' L (PR), Beyond Skillz (FL), Bobby Bishop (MA), Carriers of the Cross (FL/NJ), C. R. U.(FL), Eternal Praise (NC), Ethicz (NY), Frontlynaz (DE), J-Squad (PR), K-Drama (OH), King CYZ (DE), Messenger 777 (NJ),- M.O.C. aka Jersey Chica (NJ), Pablo Escobar (WNY,NJ), Quest the Wordsmith (NY), R-Swift (PA), Runaway (NJ), Shai Linne (PA), Solomon Starr (NY), Timothy Brindle (PA), Underground Gospel (VA), Zion (GA), and more.

There will be a host of DeeJays, such as DJ NuMan [Salem Coffee House], DJ Vaungh [DC], Half Man Half DJ [Vic from C.R.U. (FL)], DJ Lady Grace, Day Star Tribe Graffiti Artists and more. All participants will be displaying, not only their talents and passion for the hip hop origins, but their love for God and desire to worship Him with their talents and abilities.

Last year, approximately thousands of people, throughout the course of the day, visited Rap Fest 2004. Due to heavy promotion via the Internet, radio (via WFDU), television (past BET show)and great news spreading by word of mouth, we anticipate an equal attendance this year. This is a free outdoor event for everyone. Press passes are available on site for the media personnel attending.
