Multiply's Social Network Photo-Sharing Screensaver is a "Blast"

Multiply launches the first social network screensaver that updates daily with new pictures being shared by one's friends, family and extended contacts

The Multiply Screensaver displays new pictures from photo albums uploaded to the Multiply web-site (http://multiply.com) by a user's friends, family, and extended contacts. Each night, at a time the user specifies, the screensaver downloads a completely new set of photos so it is always fresh.

On the Multiply web-site, each photo album includes its own threaded message board where friends and family can discuss and comment on the pictures. Mouse-clicking on the Multiply Screensaver will automatically bring the user right to the photo album's page where they can engage in the discussion.

Pew Internet Project states that more than one out of every five Internet users is uploading photos to sites such as Multiply and, according to CNET, screensavers are one of the most downloaded file types on the Internet. Multiply is the first to combine these two popular applications, along with social network-based communication.
