2005 Silver & Black Series Presented by Sandlot Baseball, Inc.

The 2nd annual Silver & Black Series will take place June 13 & 14, 2005 at Symonds/Puckett Field, Triton College in River Grove, Illinois. The top sixty high school baseball players from the state of Illinois have been invited to this two day workout free of charge. A benefit to the Silver & Black participants will be an invite to the Area Code tryouts, June 27, 2005 at Triton College. Players selected for the Area Code team will travel to California in August to compete against the best baseball players in the country.

(PRWEB) May 19, 2005 -- The 2nd annual Silver & Black Series will take place June 13 & 14, 2005 at Symonds/Puckett Field, Triton College in River Grove, Illinois. The top sixty high school baseball players from the state of Illinois have been invited to this two day workout free of charge. A benefit to the Silver & Black participants will be an invite to the Area Code tryouts, June 27, 2005 at Triton College. Players selected for the Area Code team will travel to California in August to compete against the best baseball players in the country.

Player Check In time is 8:30 AM on Monday, June 13th at the Stadium Building in Center Field. Head Shots will be taken at this time. At 10:00 AM the baseball action starts with Team White versus Team Blue, Team Red will play Team Blue at 1:00 PM, and at 4:00 PM Team Red will match up against Team White. Rosters are currently being updated and a roster will be available online once it is finalized.

On Tuesday, June 14th Team Red will play Team Blue at 10:00 AM, Team Red will play Team White at 1:00 PM, and finishing up the Silver & Black Series will be Team Blue taking on Team White at 4:00 PM.

Food will be provided thru out the day at the field concession stand. Proceeds will go towards field expenses.
