Pro Softnet Corp Launches bspam.com, an Anti Spam Service

Bspam.com is a new anti spam service that blocks spam emails. Initial effectiveness studies ranks it right near the top of anti spam products.

(PRWEB) May 20, 2005 -- While there are many spam blocker applications available in the market today, what differentiates BSpam (http://www.bspam.com) is its ease of use and the technology behind it. It requires zero configuration and is effective right from the time you install.

"In a short time since its beta launch a few weeks ago, spam effectiveness has climbed to near 80%. This is attributable to tremendous user participation, coupled with innovative logic of combining email signature/checksum based technology with heuristic logic based on content pattern. Within last few weeks, thousands of users have downloaded and are actively using bspam application." said Raghu Kulkarni, President and CEO of Pro Softnet Corp.

Blocking spam has been a great challenge in recent years with the proliferation of spam emails. It causes tremendous productivity loss.
With BSpam, users now have a cost effective alternative to control their spam. BSpam aims to increase effectiveness to over 90%, while retaining ease of use. It is already better than many commercial products in its category.

BSpam works with an exceptional technology where users are actively involved in the fight against spam. BSpam users report spam mails, which helps other users automatically. BSpam does not store the actual contents of your mail, thus it ensures complete privacy and security of user data.

Once installed it integrates directly into users mail client as a toolbar. BSpam does not delete the spam mails; it is stored in a separate folder called 'Spam'. The mails that are posted as spam are kept in another folder called 'Spam_Posted'. The mails in both the folders can be moved to users Inbox anytime.
BSpam gives users various options to post spam mails. One can either use "Report SPAM" feature in the toolbar or use F8 Key and the mail gets directed to the 'Spam_Posted' folder. Multiple e-mails can be selected and reported as spam. Additional details on BSpam can be viewed at http://www.bspam.com.
