WorkNetPinellas has taken a leadership role in being the first Workforce Board in the country to partner with their local community college and provide InterviewUSAÂ?s patent pending Virtual Video InterviewÂ? System to both college students, workforce job seekers and employers through the Business Services section of the Workforce Board. The system will help reduce the time to hire for area employers by weeks.

– Sarasota-based Interview USA, Inc. has been selected by WorkNet Pinellas and St. Petersburg College to deliver InterviewUSA’s Virtual Video Interviews™ for both job seekers and employers. The Partnership is the first Workforce Board/Community College Partership to deliver Virtual Video Interviews™ in the nation, and it is a model already being emulated.

As part of St. Petersburg College’s ongoing effort to be on the cutting edge of new technology, the School felt that IUSA’s technology would give its students a distinct advantage as they seek employment opportunities. Students at St. Petersburg College will be able to record Virtual Video Interviews™ both to practice their interviewing skills, and include the final interview as a link to distribute or respond to employers. Students at the nearby University of South Florida in Tampa and Ringling School of Art & Design enjoy the same technology, and it is attracting the interest of major employers in the region.

The patent-pending Virtual Video Interview™ system conducts interviews, which are then digitally available for employers around the globe to review via the World Wide Web. Job Seekers send prospective employers a link to their interview along with their resumé.
