Primarily marketed to hospitals, imaging centers, specialty clinics, and orthopaedic centers, IDCÂs distinctive line of DR equipment commanded the attention of the industry and customers at the November, 2004 RSNA meeting. Marketed as the XplorerÂ DR system, the line is considered to be the industryÂs most affordable, and is the first system-of-its-kind to be offered at less than $200,000 Â attributes that have created a buzz in the industry in recent months.
Most recently, MD Byline, an independent market intelligence organization, rated the IDC DR system number one among industry competitors. With a composite customer satisfaction ranking of 9.8, out of 10, IDC ranked higher than General Electric, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, Eastman Kodak, and others. The first SourceOne sale of the XplorerÂ 1600 was to the Redmond Regional Medical Center (RRMC), in Rome, GA, a 200-bed acute care facility that serves Northwest Georgia and portions of Eastern Alabama. Founded in 1972, RRMCÂs primary focus is on Cardiac care, emergency treatments, and the operation of an innovative rehabilitation center and advanced center for the treatment of diabetes.
