Squirrel Lovers Prepare to "Go Nuts" at White Squirrel Festival in Brevard, North Carolina

Brevard, NC's 2nd Annual White Squirrel Festival announces final musical and activities line up for Memorial Day weekend event.

(PRWEB) May 19, 2005 -- If it's nutty, you'll find it at the 2nd annual White Squirrel Festival this Memorial Day Weekend in Brevard, North Carolina.

Here is a listing of events and activities:

Saturday and Sunday will feature a street festival with great crafts, food and white squirrel collectables on Main Street. During the two-day festival there are a variety of white squirrel activities" you can enjoy: white squirrel face painting; children can get their photo made with Pisgah Pete the White Squirrel; there will also be vendors with White Squirrel Collectibles and White Squirrel information booths -- including Wildlife Rehabilitator Jennifer Burgin with a live white squirrel exhibit. Enjoy a walking tour, the miniature squirrel village, putt putt golf and More!

Saturday, May 28th: 10:00am-600pm

Activities:
10:00 -- 6:00 pm: Street Festival with craft and food vendors.
10:00-3:00 pm: Classic Car Show at Citizens parking lot on East Main Street
10:00 -- 6:00 pm: Historic Slide presentation by JHPC at the Chamber of Commerce
10:00 -- 3:00 pm: White Squirrel Photo Contest at booth # 8 in front of Essence of Thyme on East Main Street. Judging will be at 4:00 pm.
10:00 -- 6:00 pm Chalk it Up art competition and White Squirrel Putt Putt Golf in Times Arcade Alley next to the Chamber of Commerce
10:00 --6:00 pm: WSQL live at the Gazebo
10:00 am; 3:00 pm; 6:00 pm: White Squirrel Sightseeing/Walking Tours at Brevard College. Meet in front of the college library to begin your tour or the van in the Wachovia parking lot will transport you!
2:00 pm; 5:00 pm: 8:00 pm: Wee White Critters play performance at the Jim Bob Tinsley Museum at 20 Jordan Street
