Moms Shop in Peace Thanks to Sneakerland Kidszone

When Sneakerland opened a store in the newly renovated Janss Marketplace, the store ownerÂ?s wife insisted on a safe and entertaining play area for children so moms could shop in peace.

When family-owned Sneakerland, an athletic footwear store, moved into the newly renovated Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, CA, Adena Surabian insisted the store be designed to accommodate moms. Surabian, a mother of two, says, “I told my husband that it is incredibly challenging for moms to shop with children and even harder to focus on an important buying decision. I wanted our store to ease that burden so moms could actually spend time thinking about themselves for a moment.”

Harold Surabian, a devoted family man, heartily agreed and thus created Sneakerland Kidszone—a gated area away from the front door where kids can watch videos, read books and play with toys so parents can think straight without worrying about the safety of their children.

Julie, a mother of three from Agoua Hills, CA loves the layout. “Shopping with kids is tough. I’ll drive out of my way to find a store that allows me to concentrate while my kids play safely nearby. Sneakerland is one of my favorite stops now – the marketplace is beautiful and I can buy shoes for the whole family without chasing the little ones all over the store.”

Sneakerland sells top of the line brands and styles for men, women, and children. The majority of their inventory is devoted to current, top quality merchandise with discounts starting at 15% below retail.
