Deadline is May 31 for Singers and Bands to Get Direction in Buffalo

Kingdom Bound hosts three great seminars to aspiring artists in the Buffalo area this June. May 31 is the deadline to sign up for these seminars about being a recording artist.

(PRWEB) May 22, 2005 -- Three new artist seminars" for aspiring recording artists will be held in the Buffalo, New York area starting at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 25, at Eastern Hills Ground Zero, 8180 Greiner Rd., in suburban Williamsville.

How to get the attention of a record label, and do you even want to," Recording and producing an independent CD," and The artist-audience relationship" are the seminar titles, to be presented by Rick Cua, Mike Noack, and Tom Jackson, respectively.

Cua owned and ran his own record label, UCA Records, before joining EMI Christian Music Group as VP of Creative/Copyright Development. In 2003, Cua left EMI to pursue a career as a consultant to music ministers. Noack is the owner of Swordfish Digital Audio in Hamilton, Ontario, and was recently nominated as Producer of the Year" by the Canadian Gospel Music Association. Jackson has over 15 years of experience helping Christian and secular recording artists learn and put into practice the most important principles for successful performers.

If you would like to attend the new artist seminars," each 75 minutes in length, you must pre-register by calling or emailing Kingdom Bound Ministries at 716-633-1117 ext. 133 or garryw@kingdombound.org by May 31, 2005. The cost is $30 and payable in cash the day of the seminars.

The new artist seminars" are held in conjunction with the 19th annual Kingdom Bound Christian music festival at Six Flags Darien Lake amusement park and camping resort July 31 through August 3. Six Flags Darien Lake is located in Darien Center, New York, halfway between Buffalo and Rochester.

Kingdom Bound, one of North Americas largest and longest-running festivals, features over 40 pop, rock and praise & worship artists, including headliners Newsboys, Michael W. Smith and MercyMe, as well as several speakers, including former mob man Michael Franzese, MTVs Chris Graebe, social commentator Lakita Garth and actor Stephen Baldwin, among its packed line-up.

Kingdom Bound tickets are surprisingly affordable and include admission to amusement park rides, like the giant Ferris wheel and the Superman: Ride Of Steel coaster.
