New Service Broadens Self-Publishers Horizons

A first-of-its-kind service catering to self published writers opens. Indawa provides editorial assistance, education resources, and oppurunities for distribution. By uniting self publishers together, all Indawa members receive more aggressive distribution and marketing while retaining control of their publishing.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) May 22, 2005 -- Indawa opens its website this month, catering to the self-published writer seeking options previously only offered by traditional publishers.

The online service, short for the Independent Authors and Writers Association, allows self-publishers to retain control while gaining assistance with editing, marketing, and distribution. All Indawa member-authors are given access to a resource center providing information, education, and how-to guides. The company goes further by publishing a catalog of members titles that is aggressively marketed to retail and wholesale outlets. Indawa gives the self-published writer the means to be represented by a reputable nationwide distributor, as well as to have a sales force working with them to create demand.

More than just an organization of self-publishers, Indawa is the first of its kind to provide everything from editing services to networking and distribution options for their members.

"Indawa is the first service available to self-publishers that both guides the independent writer on how to succeed and promotes them too with vigorous marketing and advertising strategies," says Jim Danner, the companys Membership Coordinator. Were providing editorial services, education, discounts on services, and multiple other resources to our independent authors. At the same time, were networking them together and representing them in our catalog to gain broader distribution and more demand for their books than they could achieve on their own."

Indawa charges a yearly membership fee for all authors accepted into the association. Manuscripts must be well written and approved by the editorial staff before being accepted. Yearly memberships start at $100 USD. More information is available at http://www.indawa.com.
