African Well Fund Marks World Environment Day with an Exciting Benefit Event

The African Well Fund invites you to come out in celebration of World Environment Day on June 4. The event will be held from noon until 4 p.m. at Chain Reaction, Southern Californias coolest all-ages venue, and will feature a live as well as a silent auction.

Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) May 22, 2005 -- The African Well Fund invites you to come out in celebration of World Environment Day on June 4. The event will be held from noon until 4 p.m. at Chain Reaction, Southern Californias coolest all-ages venue, and will feature a live as well as a silent auction.

The event will also feature speakers from DATA and Invisible Children. Chain Reaction (www.allages.com) is located at 1652 W. Lincoln Ave. Anaheim, Calif., 92801. The African Well Fund is asking for $10 donations at the door. Parking is free and refreshments will be served. Additional entertainment is to be announced.

Live auction items include: A Night Out at the Los Cerritos Performing Arts Center, A personalized fitness package from Jonathan Moch of Moch 1 Fitness, Los Alamitos, CA and a Jeff Gordon Commemorative Display with 1/24 scale car. Silent auction items include: Tony and Tina cosmetic baskets, Samy Hair Care baskets and Movie Night in baskets. All proceeds from the event will be used to help fund water projects in Africa.

The African Well Fund is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was founded by a group of U2 fans in late 2002. Proceeds from the African Well Fund are donated to Africares water projects in Africa. Africare is one of the leading private, non -profit charitable U.S. organizations assisting Africa.
