Several high caliber athletes, who, for various reasons, have not been afforded looks by scouts at the highest level of their game, will be heading to Boston and the Senior Invitational Pro Basketball Camp beginning on June 11, 2005. Among those attending are Majestic Mapp, 2005 NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year Jaris Cole from Williams College, Andrew Ecker, a 6'10" forward from Arizona State and Lee Lee Cannon, a ladies' point guard with exceptional ball handling skills from Cumberland University.

New York, NY (PRWEB) May 22, 2005 -- Several high caliber athletes, who, for various reasons, have not been afforded looks by scouts at the highest level of their game, will be heading to Boston and the Senior Invitational Pro Basketball Camp.

Among those attending the pro showcase will be Majestic Mapp, a 62 ½" point guard that started for the Cavaliers of the University of Virginia, has some insiders wondering why he is not traveling to Chicago for the prestigious Pre Draft Showcase, instead of Boston.

Defensive standout Jaris Cole, from (2003) Division III National Champion Williams College, is a 62" guard that boasts patient and outstanding defensive abilities (2005 NESCAC Defensive Player of the Year). Jaris is not just a good defensive player," says Barry Benzing, an agent with Empire Pro Sports in New York City, he has a tremendous knack for making things happen on the offensive end of the court as well." In addition, big man Andrew Ecker, a 610" 240 lb forward from Arizona State University, is also on the roster of attendees at the Boston Pro Invitational , who is more than ready to showcase his talent for scouts, coaches and front office management from US and European professional leagues that will be in attendance.

Lee Lee Cannon, a point guard with exceptional ball handling skills from Cumberland University will headline the womens showcase, which occurs at the same time as the mens event.

The pro showcase, held over the weekend of June 10-12, and its results will be broadcast over the internet and will be available at the click of a button.
