Help For Fashion, Designers, Fashion Show Producers and Stylist Startups
A support firm for fashion startups will open in the Canton area in Cherokee County June 1, 2005. The group felt there was a void in Atlanta available to help designers, fashion show prodoucers, stylist, and other fashion enthusiast realize their dreams. The Associations mission is to educate members to work in the fashion industry through education, collaboration, networking forums, funding startups, resources, promotion of international business and to help members interact with other industry professionals.
Canton, GA (PRWEB) May 22, 2005 -- A support firm for fashion startups will open in the Canton area in Cherokee County June 1, 2005. The group felt there was a void in Atlanta available to help designers, fashion show prodoucers, stylist, and other fashion enthusiast realize their dreams. The Parent Company, The PaceSetter Group is four companies combined that are expert in the field of special events and promotions. Each company is responsible for its own area of expertise. Putting It Together handles all the special event needs from site selection to implementation of the event; Different Gifts By Withrow is responsible for working with the special events department and supply niceties for guests, while also selling retail items that are unique and different to consumers. Different Gifts By Withrow also maintains wedding consultants on site; the parent company, The PaceSetter Group, originally started as fashion show producers; however, they realized there were no fashion outlets to help startups with funding, training, and creating and avenue for the fashion startups to gain experience running their own boutique.
The Association's mission is to educate members to work in the fashion industry through education, collaboration, networking forums, funding startups, resources, promotion of international business and to help members interact with other industry professionals.
The Parent company is owned by BJ Green who decided to give back to the community by helping young entrepreneurs in need of support and guidance. B.J. Green has been in the fashion industry since she was 15. Unable to become super model because of her height, she stayed in the industry producing fashion productions and promoting models, talent, designers, stylist and photographers to help them advance in their endeavors.
Ms. Green has worked extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe and is recognized for her spectacular special event creations and her theme fashion show productions. Ms. Green and work with her clients for a very nominal fee and work pro bono at various times for the association members, waiving their fee until the client's funds have increased enough to pay.
Ms. Green was a prodigy of her mother-in-law, Vivian Pryor Guillotti, one of the top black fashion models in Chicago.
