Four New Jersey men, each successful in the entertainment field, have joined forces to create New stars who surpass their own accomplishments.
Neil Cirucci, John Mulhern, Andrew Manzano and Andy Lalasis recently founded BreakOut Entertainment to combine their talents and work on behalf of musicians, actors, models, scriptwriters, comedians and others.
Each founder has established himself as a force on the national entertainment scene.
Cirucci has worked as a publicist for supermodel and actress Cindy Margolis since 1992. Through his association with Margolis, he established many contacts in Hollywood in areas that include films, television, cable networks and animation. Cirucci also does PR for many Hollywood celebrities. Margolis, herself will also serve as
consultant and executive in the company.
Manzano co-produced the song "Falling," which was recorded by 'N Sync, and appeared on the "On The Line" movie soundtrack in 2001. He works with Egg New Jersey's Tiffany Evans, the "Star Search" grand champion and Sony Urban Music recording artist and is currently producing her new album. He also runs the Sound Tank recording and video facility in New Jersey and specializes in mixing, engineering and music production with an emphasis on R&B and hip-hop.
Mulhern and Lalasis have been in the music business for 25 years and played behind virtually every star to pass through Atlantic City, including Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald. They ran the Atlantic City Entertainment Studios during the 1980s and now operate a recording studio and CD/DVD duplication company called Super Duperz.
The four started collaborating officially in the winter. Singers and musicians looking for a more contemporary electronic sound would use Manzano's studio while more acoustic sounding acts would use Mulhern and Lalasis's studio.
Headquartered out of the Sound Tank recording studio, the partners want to run their business as a one-stop shop for artists that would include management. For instance, a singer could record a demo CD and do a video press kit at Manzano's studio. Mulhern and Lalasis could handle CD duplication, and Cirucci would use his contacts to usher the project into the hands of influential people.
"We will deal with people that we think can go further," Cirucci said. "This is not an agency where anybody can pay a fee and join. We will be very selective in whom we represent".
The quartet already landed their first client. Personal trainer Lovell Gardenhire, who was born and raised in Hammonton, New Jersey. Gardenhire hired Manzano to shoot an exercise DVD, to meet the fitness needs of women and men, who have been diagnosed with and who are undergoing treatments for breast cancer as well as for healthy individuals looking to improve their quality of life. The DVD was inspired by her one on one training with breast cancer survivor, Kim DiCicco.
Gardenhire also serves as personal trainer for Cindy Margolis and other Hollywood celebs when they are filming on the East Coast.
"It felt right," said Gardenhire about signing with BreakOut. "The DVD is very unique, motivational and inspirational." The DVD is available at http://www.lifehealthstrength.com
Gardenhire is also working closely with nutrition guru Lou Defeo (Louie D) and his Perfect Balance brand of products. Defeo's website can be found at http://www.healthcorner.net.
Also slated to join BreakOut Entertainment are songbirds Kaitlyn Sutton and Devin Riley in addition to young supermodel Maggie Broome.
All are expected to sign with BreakOut Entertainment sometime this month.
