The proposed legislation on corporate manslaughter in England is welcome if rather late.

It is often very sad to tell the victim of an industrial injury that he or she is legally too late to claim compensation because they did not know that they could claim for their serious injury.
The Government should give the Health & Safety Executive greater funding, resources and teeth" with which better to regulate and prevent injuries at work."
