The RTS42, rough-terrain scooter has arrived.

Dorset, UK (PRWEB) May 28, 2005 -- RTS Co International Limited is proud to announce the official launch of the RTS42. The RTS42 is the first in a line of new scooters to be launched by RTS Co International Limited.

The RTS42 is a unique, ultra-tough, all-terrain scooter built to withstand the demands of off-road usage. The chassis is built of tubes manufactured from hi-tensile steel for maximum strength.

Powered by a 42.7cc 2-stroke engine producing 1.25bhp at 6,500 rpm, the RTS42 is capable of speeds of 20mph.

The RTS42 features a wide foot plate for easy handling, mono forks, front and rear for easy wheel removal, 6" steel disc brakes for instant braking, alloy racing sprockets and optional saddle. Subsequent models will include a four-stroke electric start engine and as an optional extra a full on-road kit.

The RTS42 was designed by Malcolm Haynes, a qualified engineer, who having spent much of his life in the Middle East and Africa, came up with idea of a personal vehicle that could cope with the terrain in both these countries, whilst remaining affordable to most.

The RTS42 will be available on-line from May 28 2005.
