Jamia Hamdard to Offer Vocational Degrees and Diplomas Integrating UK Qualifications

Jamia Hamdard entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Edexcel International, UK to offer Degree / Diploma programmes integrating U K qualifications.

(PRWEB) May 28, 2005 -- Jamia Hamdard entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Edexcel International, UK to offer Degree / Diploma programmes integrating U K qualifications. Admission to integrated programmes will be open to students with 10+2 and the programme will incorporate highly-rated BTEC Higher National Diploma (BTEC HND) in Business from Edexcel International UK at the Bachelors Degree Level in Management. On completion of Bachelors degree, the students, based on admission critieria set up by the University, will move to obtain Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from Edexcel and MBA from Jamia Hamdard.

Edexcel, one of the largest awarding bodies in the UK, is a leading innovative force behind academic and vocational qualifications worldwide. The BTEC (HND) qualifications, offered in 105 countries, have international currency; students can transfer globally for vocations or university programmes around the world. It forms a succinct entry route into 2nd/3rd year of first degrees in most of the universities in the US, UK, Australia, and Canada among others.
