Hall of Famers Boggs and Sandberg Join 25+ Red Sox at TRISTAR Collectors Show Spectacular

(PRWEB) May 30, 2005 -- National Baseball Hall of Fame Inductees Wade Boggs and Ryne Sandberg will be two of the many sports superstars, including Super Bowl XXXIX MVP Deion Branch, appearing at the TRISTAR Collectors Show, June 3-5, 2205, at the Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough.

Fourteen members of the 2004 Boston Red Sox championship team, including manager Terry Francona, will make special appearance at the show. Joining Francona will be Red Sox World Series champs Keith Foulke, Orlando Cabrera, Trot Nixon, Kevin Youkilis, Tim Wakefield, Mike Timlin, David McCarty and Mark Malaska. Five Red Sox coaches are also scheduled to appear at the show, including Ron Jackson, Lynn Jones, Brad Mills, Dale Sveum and Dave Wallace. Current Red Sox star outfielder Jay Payton will also attend the event.

Sandberg and Boggs will be joined by fellow Hall of Famers Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton, along with all-time Hit King Pete Rose.

TRISTAR will turn back the clock as Red Sox Legends of the past will also appear at the show. Red Sox legends appearing include Dennis Oil Can" Boyd, Jeff Reardon, Marty Barrett, Bruce Hurst, Bob Stanley, Jim Lonborg, Bill Monbouquette, George Scott and Frank Malzone. Joining the group of Red Sox greats will be Red Sox minor league prospects Kelly Shoppach, Lenny DiNardo and Abe Alvarez.

Joining Branch in the autograph pavilion will be legendary Chicago Bears running back Gale Sayers and New England Patriots First round draft pick Logan Mankins.

Premier dealers of sports cards and memorabilia from more than 20 states will be on hand buying, selling and trading an array of collectibles. Thousands of free autographs will be signed during the weekend. For sports card connoisseurs, Beckett Media will be on hand for card grading, giving card collectors the opportunity to find out what their cards are really worth. There will truly be something for every member of the family at this event.
