Tom Cruises Scientology Donation on Behalf of Journalists Inspires Donation to an Anti-cult, Scientology-Victim Support Organization
Anti-cult non-profit benefits as a result of Tom Cruise's inspiring behavior.
(PRWEB) June 8, 2005 -- On behalf of all the victims of destructive cults, coercive persuasion, toxic faith and mind control, and all those who cannot escape their abusive environments within manipulative organizations - both secular and religious - we thank you for the $1,000 donation made on your behalf.
In all sincerity, we truly appreciate the fact that your force of personality, and past behaviors, have inspired so many people to dig deep into their pockets so as to enable this large contribution to FACTNet ... and all that it stands for.
We feel truly blessed by the generosity of your followers.
You will be pleased to note that this money will be put to good use in our non-profit organization, which is dedicated to spreading information about the methodologies and machinations of all organizations like Scientology that have damaged or deceived the citizenry.
As a supporter of human rights, you cannot but be proud of those that wish to expose human rights abuses. Especially those folk at alt.religion.scientology that initiated this donation drive - on your behalf - and collected a whopping 10,000 dimes!
Their bighearted donation is all the more impressive when one considers that some of the donors have lost small fortunes to organisations that charge money for "enlightenment".
In your name, they have rallied. With clarity of vision, they have proceeded. We find that inspiring. As an action-movie star, you have to admire their activism.
A lot of them have websites that you might wish to visit. Some do not have websites, but are - nevertheless - very active people. Since we cannot identify all the people who contributed in such an open-hearted fashion, we thought you might to play a game. It's pretty simple. All you have to do is visit some websites and see if can identify the people who might wish to donate to FACTNet on your behalf. They are listed at

We're still scratching our heads. This game is so complex. But you're a winner, Tom. We are certain you can clearly identify your hidden supporters. They love games and they appreciate a good joke.
If you ever want to discuss the donation made on your behalf, there are pretty interesting discussions found at FACTNet, Operation Clambake and a.r.s.
If you ever want to personally meet individuals and their families who have been severely victimized and harmed by cults such as Scientology, we could set up meeting for you to further help get the word out about these abusive organizations. We wish you the best for all your future endevours. Fully galvanised by the sterling - and highly supportive - efforts of those that have been inspired by your example.
We heard that you recently sent a plaque to several journalists with a note saying you made a donation in their name to the International Association of Scientologists. You have also apparently sent packages to a number of reporters containing a plaque listing the 12 rules of Scientology. Last December the rumor was that you also sent a Christmas card to David and Victoria Beckham. Included was a copy of Scientology's so-called 'Code of Honour,' and you seem to have told the couple that you had made a donation to the Church of Scientology on their behalf. These and other interesting stories are archived at the Religion News Index.
