The rigorous assessment for the SEI SW CMM Level 3 was performed by SEI Partners Trimentus Technologies. Trimentus is an authorized SEI Partner for CMMI services with its world-wide delivery capability.

eBITS Corporation, which is an ISO 9001: 2000 registered company, has been implementing Global best practices in Project Management and Software Engineering using the SW CMM framework for the last two years.

The Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model for Software (CMM or SW-CMM) is a model for judging the maturity of the software processes of an organization and for identifying the implementation of defined key practices. that are required to increase the maturity of these processes. The Software CMM has become a de facto standard for assessing and improving software processes.

The scope of assessment included all software development, testing and maintenance activities carried out in the Software Division of eBITS operations in Springfield, VA. This demonstrates eBITS’s capability to manage and control software development risks related to the project, organization, process and technology in application software development projects that it undertakes.
