HomeForMyLoans is designed to eliminate the need for searching through piles of faxes in order to find a home for a loan that does not meet conventional lending guidelines. The online database includes all of the programs for the nations top lenders and investors, allowing brokers to quickly search through thousands of programs for a match. According to Draving, the tool has been getting a lot of attention from brokers. He says about 120 new originators are registering to use the free site each week. In addition, Draving said that three to four new lenders are signing up to have their loans listed in the engine weekly.
The tool is available for residential mortgage loans on MortgageMag.com and does not include rates. Brokers use the tool to locate appropriate loan programs and then are directed back to the lenders website for pricing information.
It gives people who have a unique product a chance to link up," Draving said. Once the broker identifies the product, they can work directly with the lender. The lender no longer has to update rates on other sites. There is no middleman."
