Casey Dawes Announces Class for Published Writers: Maximizing Money Through Writing Reuse

This new course is developed to help writers maximize their income. It is designed for the writer who has already published articles, but who isn't meeting his or her financial goals. Students will discover how to reslant and rewrite for maximum effect with minimum effort. In addition to class discussions, students will work with a buddy on their own query letters, developing four or five submission possibilities from one idea.

All too often we are mentally stuck writing for the same target markets, when a simple twist can allow us to get more money for our work. This became apparent to me when I realized that I had been essentially writing the same technical article for over a decade for slightly different audiences. - Determine the difference between reprint and rewrite
- Revisit copyright and how to stay on the good side of magazines/newspapers/e-zines and yet still maximize your income
- How to reslant your article for a different audience
- How to rewrite for maximum effect with minimum effort

Be prepared to spend about an hour prior to the first class and two-three hours in between classes, including one hour working with a buddy to develop four or five marketable articles from a single idea.
