Leapstone Joins with IBM to Demonstrate IMS Platform on the IBM eServer BladeCenter at Supercomm 2005

Companies to Showcase Service Delivery Platform for Next-Gen and Legacy Applications

Somerset, NJ (PRWEB) June 7, 2005 -- Leapstone Systems, a leading provider of intelligent service delivery and content management solutions, today announced that its CCE serviceBROKER will be featured alongside IBM and several other partners in a demonstration at Supercomm of a converged IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) solution.

Those attending Supercomm may visit the IBM booth (#64045) and through a series of live demonstrations, see how Leapstone and its industry-leading partners can deliver an IMS solution that will enable easy deployment of real-time multimedia services, such as enhanced messaging, multimedia conferencing, VoIP and multi-user gaming.

"The market for IMS solutions is heating up rapidly as service providers continue to search for strategies to expand their markets," said Paul Shaneck, Leapstone VP Sales & Marketing. Service providers that adopt the IMS architecture will reap the benefits of much faster development and deployment of innovative, multimedia applications, as well as more efficient, updated versions of legacy applications. This demonstration highlights Leapstone's commitment to open IMS solutions and our ability to deliver key components of this emerging architecture and provide significant value to our customers."

The IBM integrated demonstration will show how an IMS solution helps provide an enhanced multimedia user experience and brings in additional revenue for the service provider. Demonstrating the maturity of the CCE serviceBROKER and its vital role within the IMS architecture, Leapstone will serve as a stand-alone Service Capability Interaction Manager (SCIM) and orchestrate between prepaid, conferencing and gaming applications being provided by other partners in the solution.

To ensure maximum flexibility, interoperability and scalability, the CCE serviceBROKER will run on IBM eServer BladeCenter technology, and the overall IMS solution will utilize open protocols and interfaces based on 3GPP IMS specifications.

SUPERCOMM, the world's premier annual exhibition and conference for communications service providers and private network managers, comes to Chicago's McCormick Place, June 6-9.
