PlattForm Introduces Public Relations Department, New Services
Expanding its already comprehensive services, PlattForm, a leader in marketing and advertising within the postsecondary education industry, has implemented a public relations department.

The department will primarily provide public relations assistance for PlattForm and its various clients along with complementing the extensive suite of services already available. PlattForm offers a variety of promotional media options, including print, video, radio, Internet and direct mail.
Working hand-in-hand with colleges, universities and the military, the Departments primary goals are to assist schools in improving communication, developing media strategies and promoting student-, faculty- and alumni-relations.

PlattForm now offers several public relations services such as media relations, press releases for local and national media and the Hometowner" project -- a program that issues press releases announcing the enrollment and graduation of students to the corresponding media market.
Along with these services, the Department also plans to add several new services, including crisis management, consulting, alumni relations and event planning and support.
The department is staffed by three public relations coordinators:
•Kevin Kuzma will manage public relations for PlattForm and its various clients. He also will serve as managing editor for Key Magazine, a newly acquired trade publication that serves as a guide for high school students and parents interested in postsecondary education.
•Erin Smith is coordinating the Hometowner project, creating advertorials and line ads as well as writing news releases and newsletter articles.
•Lyndi Knoll, in addition to writing advertorials, line ads, news releases and newsletter articles, is coordinating with local chambers of commerce to promote PlattForms community involvement.
The addition of PlattForms Public Relations Department also plays an integral role in its new placement within the advertising industry for education.
