Female-Fronted Rock Band Undercurrent to Play Live Venue at The Roxy Theatre on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood on June 8, 2005
Undercurrent is simultaneously working on their next album, performing at various venues in Los Angeles and gearing up for their next music video, partnering again with Writer/Director Erin Strater.
(PRWEB) June 7, 2005 -- Still in their uniforms of suits, stilettos and caked-on glam makeup, Undercurrent is scheduled to be performing live at The Roxy Theatre on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 to friends, fans and interested A&R Representatives. They have been performing around Los Angeles during the last couple of months at clubs including The Joint in Los Angeles, The Cat Club on Sunset Strip in West Hollywood and The Backroom in West Los Angeles. This will be their first performance at The Roxy Theatre.
Rachel Car, mysterious and sultry lead vocalist, is known for her lyrics, which are critically acclaimed to be loaded with double entendres. Lead guitarist Gorgeous" George Wabisca tears it up on his guitar, J.L. keeps the rhythm hard but tight with his drums and JoAnn Fabrizio ties it all down with her bass. They have been playing together for about a year.
They have just completed their first music video Night & Day," with writer / director Erin Strater, which can be viewed online at www.undercurrentla.com. The video is currently making rounds in the domestic and international film festivals circuit. Erin, her crew and the band are now preparing the next music video installment for Lies," Undercurrent's most downloaded song through Apple's iTunes, due to start shooting in July of 2005.
