Andy McCutcheons' JetSpeed Records Release, "Life Is Too Short," Breaks Into Mainstream Radio

Attention radio station managers : Andy McCutcheons version of the Cars "My Best Friends Girl" has nationwide pickup.

(PRWEB) June 6, 2005 -- Andy McCutcheon's JetSpeed Records/Bad Habit Records debut EP, "Life Is Too Short," from the upcoming full-length release entitled "Leaf Underwater" has already become the number one selling EP in JetSpeed Records/Bad Habit Records history, and now, two tracks from the EP have been set to go into regular rotation at 167 mainstream commercial radio stations in the Midwest and East Coast this coming Monday.

The song "Hello," already having been used in multiple television shows and McCutcheon's version of The Cars classic "My Best Friends Girl" are set to begin moving up the charts. Both tracks reflect Andy McCutcheon's unique take on Pop Culture and have become the label's most requested and downloaded songs ever.

What sets Andy McCutcheon apart from the rest of the indie pack is not only his incredible talent, but the production staff he has chosen, along with the label to work with.

His tracks have been produced by three time Grammy nominated producer Brad Gilderman whose long list of credits include such Platinum/Grammy winning acts such as Eric Clapton, Destiny's Child, N*SYNC, Tom Petty, Britney Spears, Outkast and Madonna. Gilderman's style and signature sound really show up in his and Andy's
version of "My Best Friends Girl" In fact, it made such an impact before it was even released that JetSpeed/BadHabit Records had to cut a deal with Not Lame Recordings (www.notlame.com) to help sell the EP because the upfront demand was so great!

Other tracks were produced by mega Platinum engineer and producer David Morse(www.mastergroovestudios.com) who actually was responsible for bringing Andy McCutcheon to the label as his original A@R rep. David Morse's vast credits range from Motley Crue to Incubus all the way to David Bowie, who, by the way, McCutcheon is often compared to; this is never more evident than in the Morse produced, McCutcheon composed track "A Girl Like You," which has proved to be one of the standout tracks from any Andy McCutcheon live performance.
