Creator of SHERLOCK Â? The Codec Detective! launches free online multimedia training course on how to use and create RSS feeds

"How To Use RSS " is based upon the hundreds of emails received by Digital Media professional Marc Liron whilst using the technology on his own popular website (http://www.updatexp.com). Having recently started sending out his newsletter as an RSS feed, many newsletter subscribers started asking how they could do the same with their websites.

“I tried finding an easy to use course on creating and consuming RSS feeds but could not find one that used both video and PDF handouts. So I decided to create one myself!” says Marc. “How To RSS is also written for the non-technical user as many of the emails came from small business owners who do not have a technical background.”

To experience the free “How To RSS.” course for themselves visitors sign up at http://www.rss-lessons.com. The course is based around a daily handout in the popular PDF format and has supporting videos explaining key concepts. All the training materials are archived for later use if a subscriber requires them.

“The use of RSS is growing rapidly online and many small websites have yet to benefit from the exposure it can give them,” notes Marc. “The good news is that RSS is easily accessible to even the smallest website owner!”

Marc Liron is a Digital Media professional and has been awarded the converted Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award two years running. Marc Liron maintains a popular website for Windows XP users at http://www.updatexp.com where over 500,000 visitors stop by each month.
