Pop the Cap Benefit Concert in Raleigh June 12th

Pop the Cap: Carolinians for Specialty Beer, a grassroots organization, announced today that the organization will host an evening of bluegrass and rock music on Sunday, June 12 at The Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, N.C.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) June 9, 2005 -- Pop the Cap: Carolinians for Specialty Beer, a grassroots organization, announced today that the organization will host an evening of bluegrass and rock music on Sunday, June 12 at The Pour House Music Hall in Raleigh, N.C.

According to Pop the Cap President, Sean Wilson, "After a few months focusing on lobbying and legislative matters, Pop The Cap is excited to return to the world of public events! Thanks to Eric Mullen and the good folks at The Pour House in Raleigh. We're thrilled to have this chance to celebrate passage of House Bill 392 in the state House and to kick off our efforts to pass the bill in the state Senate."

The evening will feature performances by three local bands, Old Habits, The Cadillac Stepbacks, and Seven Minute Bender. The event will include a silent auction from 7-10 p.m. as well. Admission is free to 2005 Pop the Cap General and Sustaining members and $10 otherwise. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at www.popthecap.org
