Net-linx Signs Contract with Swisscom Directories for nxDSMP Publishing System

Swisscom Directories, the premier publisher of telephone directories and Internet yellow pages for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, orders new publishing system. Seeks efficiencies and cost savings.

Dresden, Germany (PRWEB) June 10, 2005 -- net-linx Europe is pleased to announce an agreement to supply its suite of Yellow Page publishing solutions to Swisscom Directories, the premier publisher of telephone directories and Internet yellow pages for Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein.

Directories is engaged in on-going development of customer-oriented products and advertising platforms of high quality and appeal, continuing to strengthen and build upon a leading market position.

The decision to invest in the net-linx nxDSMP suite of products is a direct result of the need to implement a strong technological infrastructure to support their growth in the Swiss directory market.

The nxDSMP suite will replace an in-house-built listing management sales system and will introduce functionality that lets Directories improve their advertising sales, sales support capabilities and production efficiency. Because nxDSMP is standards-based and is replacing a home-grown solution, Directories IT costs will reduce dramatically.

The nxDSMP suite will serve about 150 users and will be used to produce 25 books for publication throughout Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The total print run is 4.8 million. The suite will also serve as a content management solution for new media and CD publications.
