Loveland Visitors Center Hosts Open House June 18 - New Sculptures, Entryway Featured, Along With Discounts and Refreshments

The Loveland Visitors Center, 5400 Stone Creek Circle in Loveland, Colorado, will host an open house on Saturday, June 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Area residents, visitors and passers-by are encouraged to stop in for a visit and to celebrate the beginning of summer, and meet the Center's volunteers, who help put a smiling face on Loveland seven days a week during summer season.

Loveland, CO (PRWEB) June 11, 2005 -- The Loveland Visitors Center, 5400 Stone Creek Circle in Loveland, Colorado, will host an open house on Saturday, June 18 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Area residents, visitors and passers-by are encouraged to stop in for a visit and to celebrate the beginning of summer, and meet the Center's volunteers, who help put a smiling face on Loveland seven days a week during summer season.

As the Chamber of Commerces arm for outreach to Lovelands visitors, were establishing an annual open house to help educate the public and focus on our efforts to serve the Loveland community," notes Scot Lee, membership services and development coordinator for the Loveland Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center.

The Center boasts some exciting new changes not to be missed, including:
•   Two beautiful new sculptures added to the McWhinney-Hahn Sculpture Park, located adjacent to the Visitors Center: Grandmother's Joy, by Fritz White (www.fritzwhite.net), and Swift Pursuit, by Rip Caswell (www.ripcaswell.com), purchased by the Loveland Sculpture Group (www.lovelandsculpturegroup.org).
•   The center's new artistic entryway, donated by the Colorado Ready Mixed Concrete Association's (www.crmca.org) Northern Marketing Committee, chaired by Larry Glenn of Lafarge (www.lafargenorthamerica.com).

Visitors can take advantage of a rare sale, featuring a 20 percent discount on all merchandise on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18, including a wide selection of Loveland and Colorado gifts and souvenirs perfect for Father's Day, as gifts to local residents, or for visitors to take back home as a reminder of their time here. There will also be an exhibit and sale of some of the Center's outstanding featured local artists, including Dave Disney, Doris Hartsook, Dena Kirk, Mike Ottoman and Doris Smith.

Refreshments will be served, including free samples of delicious Cold Stone Creamery ice cream.
