Carlsbad CVB Debuts New Online Travel Section for Kids

Carlsbad, California CVB offers kids a fun way to help parents plan a beach vacation.

Carlsbad, CA (PRWEB) June 11, 2005 -- The Carlsbad Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched a new section of their website that is devoted exclusively to kids. Hi-tech kids now have their very own section on the Visitor Bureaus website where they can learn about the area and have fun doing it.

Carlsbad is a family destination and we wanted to pay more attention to the kids who come here to visit," said Kurt Burkhart, the Bureaus executive director. This is a great way for kids to get to know the area, and excited about coming to Carlsbad with their parents."

The kids section includes an old fashioned coloring book, a map of area attractions including LEGOLAND, a birthday club, and fun facts about the area. Of special interest to kids will be the testimonials section of the site. Here, kids can post their own comments on where they had the most fun. Their comments and photos will be posted for other kids to enjoy and to find out where the best places are for surfing, skateboarding, eating, playing, shopping or just hanging out!

The Carlsbad CVB is happy to announce the new kids section and looks forward to receiving feedback and testimonials from kids who use the site. The site can be found at www.VisitCarlsbad.com.
