Let the Music Begin: 4th Rochester International Jazz Festival Opens Friday June 10

The Rochester International Jazz Festival is nine days with over 500 musicians and 100 shows. Among the performers are Sonny Rollins, Chris Botti, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea and Chaka Khan.

The fourth annual Rochester International Jazz Festival returns to Rochester June 10-18 for a spectacular nine-day event featuring more than 100 concerts and 500 musicians representing 15-plus countries.

One of the fastest growing and most multi-dimensional festivals offered in the world, the Festival will offer something for everyone - from new sounds to familiar favorites. Among the performers are Sonny Rollins, Chris Botti, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea and Chaka Khan.

Concerts will be held in nine venues in Rochester’s East End Cultural District, all within walking distance. Three outside performance areas will offer free music.

The festival features three different series: Eastman Theatre, Club Pass Shows and Outdoor Stages. The full details of the concert series are included in the attached pdf.

The Eastman Theatre Headliner Series features Sonny Rollins, Chris Botti, Dave Brubeck, Chick Corea, Chaka Khan, Will Downing and Madeleine Peyroux. Individual tickets are $27.50 to $65 plus service charge. All shows start at 8 PM.

Club Pass Series features 100 plus shows. Shows start at various times from 6 to 10 PM. June 10-18. See as many club shows as you choose with the Club Pass. $75 plus service charge until June 9. $85 June 10 at the door. Or, individual tickets available at the door, $15/$20 cash only, first-come first-served.

All concerts are free at the three Outdoor Stages. Food and beverages available for purchase.
