Columbus, OH (PRWEB) June 10, 2005
ECNext (http://www.ecnext.com) announced today that Pamela Springer, company President and Chief Executive Officer, has been elected to a two-year term as a member of The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) Content Division's Board of Directors by SIIA members. The Content Division of SIIA provides a forum for companies that publish and distribute online content, and offers technologies and services that facilitate the distribution of information products.
Springer will work closely with Ed Keating, Vice President, Content Division, in setting the agenda of the Content Division, and in identifying issues of importance to the Information Industry. Her responsibilities also will include the planning of Content Division activities to ensure that it serves members and the industry at large via a range of events, programs, research, and other services.
Says Keating, ÂWe are pleased that such talented and high-profile executives will be joining the Content Division Board. This is a great team of industry veterans to help us deliver the kind of services the information industry has come to expect from us.Â
Springer was selected to lead ECNext, a leading provider of technology and services for marketing, selling and delivering commercial business content via the Web, in December 2004, after nearly 20 years in the technology arena, including executive positions with several emerging growth companies. Says Springer, ÂThe SIIA is the principal trade association for the software and digital content industry, the very people that ECNext serves and has partnerships with, and it's an honor to be voted on the Board by the publishing industry.Â
