The Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) is now seeking proposals for speaking opportunities at the SCIP Annual International Conference & Exhibition, Competitive Intelligence -- Understanding Today, Anticipating Tomorrow, which will be held from April 26-29, 2006 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort, Orlando, Florida, USA.

(PRWEB) June 12, 2005 -- The Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) is now seeking proposals for speaking opportunities at the SCIP Annual International Conference & Exhibition, Competitive Intelligence -- Understanding Today, Anticipating Tomorrow, which will be held from April 26-29, 2006 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort, Orlando, Florida, USA.

This is an excellent opportunity to present the latest information and best practices that will challenge attendees to participate, learn, and take home new and improved techniques, skills, and ways of thinking about competitive intelligence (CI). Submit your proposal now to the SCIP06 Program Committee. Instructions for submission can be found on www.scip.org. The deadline for submission is JULY 6, 2005, Midnight EDT. There will be no exceptions to this deadline.

According to Arik Johnson, Managing Director of Aurora WDC and chair of the SCIP 2006 Annual International Conference, CI is more important now than ever. And in structuring the single most important gathering of CI professionals each year, we are not only interested in the process of doing CI -- we want to hear from CIs internal clients and customers as well -- people who have used CI to create and sustain a competitive advantage for their enterprise. This rich tapestry of expertise and experience can be found in only one place each year: the SCIP Annual International Conference."

Selection to speak at a SCIP Conference is competitive as there are always more proposals than speaker slots available. The Program Committee will review proposals and strive to select those that offer a diverse and well-balanced educational program. Special efforts will be made to choose presentations that include best practices or case studies, have an interactive learning component, and contain content that participants can apply immediately. You have until July 6th to become an elite member of CIs global community of thought leaders, scholars and expert practitioners joining together in Orlando, FL from April 26-29, 2006."

The conference will focus on enhancing competitive intelligence skills and demonstrating the added value that competitive intelligence brings to an organization through the following five tracks of education: 1: Professional Effectiveness; 2: Applied CI: Defense -- Industry Threats, Organizational Security & Risk Management; 3: Applied CI: Offense -- Enterprise Growth, Market Opportunity & Product Innovation; 4: CI Fundamentals; and 5: Academic and Scholarly Research.

Dont miss this great opportunity to present to hundreds of professionals that understand the importance and value of CI for business success. Visit www.scip.org for submission instructions. Deadline July 6, 2005.
