UFO Petition to the Secretary General of the United Nations Kofi Annan

In an unprecedented move to expand awareness about the UFO phenomenon a group headed by Petition Co-ordinator John Velez has developed a petition about the reality of the UFO phenomenon.

(PRWEB) June 13, 2005 -- Preparations are being made to present the Secretary General of the United Nations Kofi Annan with this Petition that co-operatively challenges the UN to take action on its official study of Unidentified Flying Objects.

The International Petition requests the UN to declassify and release all UFO records in their possession; to support serious scientific study of UFOs as well as to develop regulations requiring pilots, police and other civil agencies to generate reports and release these reports to the public.

Over 5800 signatures have been collected, yet is only a small portion of the world-wide concern among people of the planet to remove the shroud of secrecy surrounding the truth about UFOs and their Extraterrestrial origin.

It is now time to challenge the UN to become a prime mover in the world-wide movement to release of this information - Information all humanity has a right to know.
