Boston, MA (PRWEB) June 13, 2005 -- Living Root Dragon Boat, Inc. (LRDB") sends its Open Team to compete at the Boston Dragon Boat Festival on Sunday June 12, 2005 at the Weeks Footbridge by Harvard Square on the Charles River.
We have a young team with a lot of enthusiasm," says LRDB President Bob Lee. Our motto is: 'Consistent effort, achieve results. We value the continuing development of excellence and we expect from our members the commitment that is crucial to having team improvement and personal enrichment. Were especially very lucky and thankful that this year we have the sponsorship of Lee Technical Athletics and Stacys Pita Chip Company. We also have new partnerships with AccesSportAmerica, Patagonia, Whirling Girl, Lotus Designs, Dragon Boat World Magazine, and Water Girl. "
The team will race this year in Boston, Montreal, and Hartford. The team needs $40,000 over two years to help train and equip its members including the purchase of a state of the art fiberglass, 41 long dragon boat.
The club is seeking sponsors and other partnership relationships to meet these financial goals as well as to develop a dragon boat youth program.
The Open Team is currently screening potential candidates to join the team. Team requirements are available online at www.livingroot.org.
The dragon boat season has only just begun in Boston, adds Mr. Lee. Were going down a road to success. If youre looking to be a leader in this sport and are willing to learn, grow, and work hard, we have a place for you."
