(PRWEB) June 13, 2005 -- Little People, people with one of the many forms of dwarfism, face big challenges when it comes to finding clothes. Sizing is one issue and style is another. Myrna Ward of Lee's Summit, Missouri, founded Dwarf Outfitters in 2004 to offer a variety of casual shirts she designed specifically for Little People and their family and friends. Myrna's youngest daughter, Marti, was born with Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism.

T-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies from Dwarf Outfitters celebrate the special differences of people with short stature and dwarfism with humor and style-and in some cases, a bit of attitude. "It's a labor of love," according to Myrna. "As a parent of a child with dwarfism, I'm excited to offer positive, distinctive shirts for Little People and their families." The shirts were introduced at the 2004 Little People of America (LPA) conference in San Francisco, and are now available online at www.dwarfoutfitters.com.

Popular shirt designs include "Lord of the Dwarfs," "Dwarf Diva," "Dwarf Princess," "It's a Dwarf Thing: You Wouldn't Understand," and "Little Things Mean A Lot To Me." The "Dwarf Got Game: DAAA" t-shirt reminds us that athletes come in all sizes, and promotes the Dwarf Athletic Association of America. "Peace, Love & Little People" emblazoned across happy tie-dyed colors shares an upbeat message with funky, hippie-flashback appeal. Gerry Garcia would have liked this one! The LPA Conference t-shirts are wearable reminders of good times at the famous annual conference attended by thousands, to be held this year July 1-7 in Orlando, Florida.

The shirts are available in sizes from infant to 3XL adult, (depending on the style), and cost $12 to $28. Details are available online at www.dwarfoutfitters.com.
