Montreal, QC (PRWEB) June 15, 2005 -- Silanis Technology, the market leader in automating business approval processes, today announced an educational web seminar designed to address how electronic signatures can fully automate the employee new hire on-boarding process. This free web seminar on Wednesday, June 15th, will cover the process workflow, documents to be signed, security issues and the benefits of a fully automated on-boarding process.

Bringing new employees onboard is one of the most costly, critical, and resource-intensive HR processes within any organization. Automation has the potential to eliminate unnecessary delays, risks, and expenses inherent in the traditional paper process.

The results of an electronic on-boarding process speak for themselves:
·   On-boarding Process time reduced by 25%
·   Internal Processing time cut in half
·   Eliminated $14 in courier costs per candidate
However these benefits will not be realized as long as documents must be printed to paper for delivery or for signing.

There has never been a better time to bring the on-boarding process online. Contracts, benefit enrolment forms, agreements, consents and now government forms such as I-9s and W4s can all be delivered, signed and stored electronically.

Since the passing of ESIGN legislation in 2000, virtually all documents for employee on-boarding can be delivered, signed and stored electronically. On April 30th, 2005, the Department of Homeland Security published a rule under which Employment Eligibility Verification forms, otherwise know as the I-9, can also be processed electronically. This means that organizations can finally implement a 100% paperless, on-boarding process.

The presentation will cover how approval automation can benefit an organization's HR approval processes including:
·   Legislation & Regulatory Considerations
·   Business Process and Technical Requirements
·   Implementation and Solution Demonstrations
The Web seminar runs from 12:00 till 1:00 PM EST on Wednesday, June 15, 2005. For more information, or to register, please visit www.silanis.com/webseminar/ or call 1-888-SILANIS, ext. 2.
