Wayne Cozad To Speak In China On US Channel Partner Opportunities

Cozad, II, has been invited by the China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) to return to China on June 18, 2005, for a six-city promotional speaking engagement. This will mark Mr. Cozads third trip to China to discuss US Channel Partner opportunities and assist Chinese companies looking to develop stronger relationships in the US marketplace. Mr. Cozad will be traveling with David Bleyle, former United States Council General for the Chengdu Consular District, who works alongside local agencies, such as the Portland Regional Partners for Business, to promote the Portland regional area as a potential site location for growing Chinese companies. Mr. Bleyle is an independent consultant specializing in the promotion of China-US trade relations and economic development.

Mr. Cozad and Mr. Bleyle will be presenting in Chengdu, Mianyang, Yibin, Zigong, and Leshan in the Sichuan Province and Yichang in the Hunan Province, which is recognized as a sister city to Oregons Washington County. All of these cities are mid-sized, each boasting population densities of more than one million people, and are largely known for their high-quality manufacturing operations. The presentations will likely draw attendees from a variety of manufacturing businesses, including producers of automobile parts, textiles, shoes and leather goods, electronic components, liquor and beverages, and power generation and transmission equipment.
