The Nations Leading Wine Retailer, Sam's Wine and Spirits has Created Sam's Wine and Spirits Academy- Adult Education Programs

Located in the Rosen Wine Room at Kendall College. Sam's has created adult education programs for the wine, spirits and food lovers that would like to learn more about their hobby and passion. This marks the first time that a national retailer has chosen to educate the consumer as well as sell to them. Sam's again is putting consumer needs first by offering services as well as selection.

(PRWEB) June 17, 2005 -- Sam's is proud to introduce Sam's Wine & Spirits Academy at Kendall College! Take Sam's four-course session and learn about (and taste through!) the world of wine.

Sam's Wine & Spirits Academy courses will be taught by Bill St. John. Before joining Sam's, Bill spent 20 years writing on wine, food, restaurants and several other beats for Colorado's two daily newspapers, Denver's CBS News affiliate and several national periodicals, notably Wine & Spirits where he continues his regular column. Over the years, Bill also ran St. John On Wine, a wine academy, and taught hundreds of wine seminars, something that he continues to do at Sam's. "I've lost track of how many hundreds of wine classes I've taught," he says, "but it's my great passion - teaching about wine & food."

Sam's will begin the academy July 6, and will offer many courses for both the novice and the true enthusiast. Trade and restaurant staff courses will soon follow.

Sam's Wine & Spirits Academy programs will take place at Kendall College, 900 N. North Branch Street in Chicago.
