Issues That Elude Remedies From Government or Culture Can Be Impacted Through Prayer

Moms In Touch International and The Praying Life Foundation call the church to become a prayer force for our children.

(PRWEB) June 18, 2005 -- Fern Nichols (Moms In Touch) and Jennifer Kennedy Dean (The Praying Life Foundation) have a vision for seeing the church become a prayer force for the generations. Issues that elude remedies from government, schools, or any arm of our culture can be impacted through the power of prayer. Jennifer and Fern are uniquely positioned, because of their long and faithful focus on prayer, to lead just such a movement. Both of these seasoned and proven ministries are focused on the power of prayer. Both have achieved a level of trust within the Christian community as solid, biblical ministries with integrity and maturity.

Where prayers focus, power falls...our focus is our children," says Fern. Our children grow up in the atmosphere of our prayers...prayers that will outlive us. We must take seriously the mandate to, 'Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin; pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord. Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children (Lamentations 2:19). I believe our children and schools will be transformed as women take time out from their busy schedules to pray. If we are not praying for our children, who is?"

Jennifer adds, We have to mobilize the most powerful force God has created to equip the coming generations for their assignment. The unified prayers of the church are the answer. For several years now I have been incubating a vision for calling the church into concentrated prayer for the generations. I am fully convinced that prayer is THE KEY to saving our world's children and the generations that are yet unborn" says Dean.

I believe there is no greater 'work that you can do for your children than to pray for them," says Fern. And it is work. It is an intentional decision to spend time talking to God concerning the spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental well being of your children. What a privilege it is for believers to join with Christ and the Holy Spirit to release Gods power on your children as you pray according to His will."

According to Jennifer, the most powerful prayer force in existence is the Body of Christ. The potential of the church praying in one accord for the lives of the next generations is something I yearn to see realized. I want us all to have a way to have the prayers of the church for the generations. Even those who are walking with the Lord need the prayers of the church at full force."

Moms In Touch and The Praying Life Foundation are calling women together for extraordinary prayer for our children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and students. Fern and Jennifer will lead prayer experiences, giving women the opportunity to join in united and concentrated prayer.

The first of these prayer experiences are scheduled for September 14, 2005 in Fresno, CA and November 3, 2005 in Raleigh, NC. More events will be scheduled. Visit www.prayinglife.org/prayerforce.html for more information.
