To an audience of over 130 recruiters, job-board owners, vendors and reporters Taylor vouchsafed that his next project will have nothing to do with recruitment. It will involve an online consumer site targeted at the 50 + age-group. Taylor explained that he was keen to start a new project, 'leading a team again in an amazing work environment' and hoped that 'lightning would strike twice' producing another monster success.
$2 million of venture capital has been arranged for the new project from his current employer and he hopes to launch on 8th September 2005. Taylor will remain in an advisory capacity with Monster World Wide for the next 18 months.
