NYSIA and NY Tech Leaders Will Testify to NY City Council on "How City Government Can Support the Development of New York City's Information Technology Industry"
The hearing will address the current state of the tech industry in New York and address crucial workforce issues and trends.

Bruce Bernstein, the president of the New York Software Industry Association, will be leading off the hearing with an overview of the NYC software/IT industry and the importance of high tech economic development. Executive Director James Bradley; CUNY Institute for Software Development and Design Executive Director Ted Brown; City College, City University of New York Professor of Computer Sciences Daniel D. The goal of this hearing is to educate the Council Members as well as the general public on crucial issues facing the technology industry in New York. The panelists will present several enlightening perspectives on current high-tech market trends as well as how current concerns within the field could be alleviated through government support.
