Hexamail Guard 2.3 Adds Challenge Response Features to Offer Unrivalled Spam Blocking Performance
Hexamail Guard offers server-based spam blocking which allows effective server spam filtering. Now the newly released version 2.3 makes the Hexamail solution the most comprehensive on the market, by combining sophisticated IP blocking, URL blocking, content matching, sender matching, Bayesian pattern matching, image analysis and now challenge response features.
Cambridge, UK (PRWEB) June 23, 2005 -- Hexamail, the leading software company specializing in intelligent email routing, management, auditing and spam blocking, announced today that it has released the latest version of its Hexamail Guard antispam solution with challenge response features.
Hexamail Guard adds to its software an unsurpassed combination of detection algorithms and techniques: Bayesian textual pattern matching on email content, neural based sender address matching, image analysis, attachment blocking, url blocking, popup blocking, script blocking, keyword and expression lists, with automatic Internet updates.
Challenge response is optionally activated by the administrator. Challenges can be sent only for those emails analyzed as SPAM - reducing the number of false challenges. On responding to the challenge the sender is automatically whitelisted. The email and all future emails from the sender will be allowed to pass through unfiltered. This technique, used in conjunction with sophisticated SPAM analysis prevents any false positives, while retaining the maximum level of protection.
Challenge response is now a standard feature of the entire Hexamail Guard range of products.
