AGC Systems Selected to Manage Terrestrial Digital Converter Project

The Association for Maximum Service Television, Inc. (MSTV) has selected AGC Systems to manage the MSTV Terrestrial Digital Converter Box Project.

Long Valley, NJ; Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 22, 2005 -- AGC Systems will manage the development, production, and evaluation of a complete Terrestrial Digital-to-Analog Converter Box that will allow the general public to receive terrestrial digital broadcast signals using existing analog receivers. The specification for this box, being co-developed by NAB and MSTV, requires that it be easy to use by consumers, and that it readily convert the ATSC VSB digital transmission and MPEG coding to the analog NTSC format.
