RecruitMilitary, LLC, a military-to-civilian recruiting firm based in Cincinnati, has opened a branch office in the Dallas region. The company finds civilian jobs for men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, veterans with a wide variety of business experience, members of the reserve forces and National Guard, and military spouses.

Managing the Dallas office is Marc R. Hinkelman, a 20-year veteran of the United States Army. Hinkelman joined RecruitMilitary in November 2004. He is a graduate of the Sergeant Major Course and the U.S. Army Ranger School, and a member of the Association of the United States Army, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the United States Parachute Association. Hinkelman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from Park University in Parkville, Missouri, and a Master of Arts degree in Management from Webster University in Saint Louis. He served in both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He can be reached at RecruitMilitary’s nationwide telephone number, 513-683-5020, and at marc@recruitmilitary.com.

RecruitMilitary offers online hiring products, hiring-based advertising space in online and print media, contingency hiring services, and participation in job fairs. Employers post jobs at the Website http://www.recruitmilitary.com and search RecruitMilitary’s database of job candidates, currently numbering over 82,000. The company mails more than 52,000 copies of a quarterly, print newsletter called Incoming! to over 210 military bases throughout the world. All of RecruitMilitary’s account executives and recruiters are either military veterans or are active in the reserve forces.

“We are expanding into Texas because business is good in the Southwest and the region is home to a large transitioning and veteran population,” said Drew Myers, President of RecruitMilitary and a former captain in the Marine Corps. “Economic activity in Texas has been increasing steadily, led by the service sector. The military giant of the region is Army post Fort Hood in Texas, with a normal active-duty population over 40,000. Texas is also home to Fort Sam Houston and Fort Bliss; and Fort Sill, Oklahoma, is the artillery capital of the world. There are Navy bases in Fort Worth, Ingleside, Corpus Christi, and Kingsville, Texas. Randolph Air Force Base in Texas is home to the Air Force Personnel Center. Other Air Force bases in Texas are Dyess, Goodfellow, Lackland, Laughlin, Sheppard, and Brooks City-Base. In Oklahoma are Altus, Tinker, and Vance Air Force Bases.”

RecruitMilitary was founded in 1998 as a contingency hiring firm specializing in the placement of junior military officers—lieutenants and captains in the Army, Air Force, and Marines; ensigns and lieutenants in the Navy and Coast Guard. In 2002, the company acquired the online recruiting firm MilitaryHeadhunter.com and expanded its own services to include military personnel of all ranks. RecruitMilitary launched print Incoming! in 2003 and presented its first job fair in 2004.
