Armchair Travel have selected 450 of the best gardens in the UK and Ireland, and have compiled a comprehensive website telling visitors everything they need to know about each garden to ensure an enjoyable visit. For the first time, the history of the garden, and the house associated with it, are given, along with a high-quality picture of the garden.

A very detailed description of the garden, with special or unusual features highlighted, is provided, along with county and district maps and even recommendations as to where to stay, or have a meal nearby, and the best time of the year to visit each garden.
