More than 3,000 Financial Aid Professional to Attend Annual Conference in New York City

The annual conference of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) is expected to draw more than 3,000 student financial aid professionals from across the country.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 24, 2005 -- The annual conference of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) is expected to draw more than 3,000 student financial aid professionals from across the country. The first NASFAA conference was held July 1975 in Aspen, Colorado, with 570 participants.

- Sunday, July 3, 1:00 p.m., Hilton New York, Grand Ballroom - Keynote: Mark Shields, Syndicated Columnist and Moderator, The Capital Gang
- Monday, July 4, 11:30 a.m., Hilton New York, Grand Ballroom - Presentation of NASFAA Awards and Annual Business Meeting
- Tuesday, July 5, 12:15 p.m., Hilton New York, Grand Ballroom - Luncheon speaker: Tiki Barber, Running Back for the NY Giants
- Presentation of donated books to representatives from P.S. 156 in the South Bronx and JHS 45 in the John S. Roberts Educational Complex in East Harlem
- Wednesday, July 6, 9:00 a.m., Hilton New York, Grand Ballroom - Closing presentation: Award-winning journalist Joe Lockhart, Partner, The Glover Park Group; NASFAA President Dallas Martin will also speak.
